    F’N AWESOME!!!!! Bro, these are bad ass…just keep on pouring in the mileage…i am f’n impressed…great job!!! i love that skull face, the killer contrast and overall boldness of it and use of medium…and its so good to see you constructing the head in the second set, adding in the lineweight…now this is what lineweights is about!!!

    Thanks bro, Ya still need lots of work, but I had fun doing this stuff, and it was good to have the book for reference. Gonna keep at it for sure, I love the amount of F-Bombs in the message! Both sketches had rougher underlays!

    Well done man! The Line use is done really well on both sketches man…especially the top sketch using shading as lines. Is that top sketch Prisma? Add some tags on this one bro! Nice work Chad, looking good bud!

    Thanks dude, Ya top sketch was a quick razor point underlay and then a verithin to prisma, I think the top sketch is probably a bit overworked, but I needed too and still need to work on my shading, I’d love to learn more about how to shade, even in a sketchy type way. Can’t wait to see your next one. I added tags..I always forget!

    Ya man, i been lagging the last couple days. I got a tribute sketch coming, along with the revamp of the NY Library and then something new and exciting that I dont even know about yet! Given the fact that you took the top sketch all the way to the deepest blacks, I dont feel like its overworked at all. I think that one of the many things you did well on that sketch is, you worked the whole value scale and pop’d key parts out by leaving them in light. When I work on my inkwash paintings, I try to go thru the same process or Dark to Light, then Light to Dark.

    I think youre doin great Chad….i guess the top sketch could use more mid tones to balance it out, but i like that heavy, deep contrast…sorry bout the f bombs, i just got really excited when i saw your sick ass sketches!

      Wow Joni..there is always such an eessnce of JOY and spirit in all that you create! I love this and all our pieces..but i especially love this one with the umbrella which is a special symbol for me..beautiful!HugsVictoria

    AH-HA….”the beast from within has reared its’ head” … Your sketch isn’t safe, mechanical or amateurish …but shows immerging style, artist confidence and more risk taking. These sketches are competitive and demands an extra look from the viewer. Congrats. Looking forward to the next piece.
