In Memory of Michael Jackson

These sketches were done in loving memory of Michael Joseph Jackson, the King of Pop.  The gathering of people I see on  TV, the Internet and in every other area of life…speaks so strongly to the fragility and love we all share as humans.  Micheal stood for much more than music and dancing to so many people….unity, peace, happiness and equality…(the music and dancing did help thou :).  Even with all the difficult periods in life he faced, people  still stood by him.  The joy and memories he brought to so many people across the globe will surely be missed but also remembered.  I still remember getting my copy of Thriller, which was my first fill lenght album.  I listened to it over and over and over…  Thanks for the memories MJ, and peace to the Jackson family.

I am still in shock over this…we grew up watching him and idolizing him…never has someone had such a profound effect on the music industry, film, tv, and all of entertainment…we will greatly miss him…our prayers are with his family…thanks for the sketch Dom!

  1. Looking back to 1983–my first high school romance, first time in my girlfriend’s bedroom. The Thriller album was lying on the floor by the record player in her room. We listened to it afterwards. MJ RIP

Yup while Beat It was the first Michael Jackson song (I was a wee little kid back then) I can remember hearing, the very first music video I saw was Thriller:

I was surprised to hear of his death at only 50 years of age. Many fans will miss him.

he was the first to truly invoke music in my life. i used to watch his movie “Moonwalker” on repeat and always rewinding to parts where he would be dancing and i would copy him. he’s displayed to me what good music could be by testing his creativity throughout his time. his talent to influence people far and wide is unmatched.

if there’s anything that i’ve learned about life from him, it would be that music can potentially save the world.

One of the great innovators of music who stayed true and original to his trade and pushed the boundaries introducing awe inspiring entertainment. No one will be like what he was. To be part of his audience during his life was a great privilege. Thank you Michael Jackson.

…..I think I sill have a copy of Moonwalker on Sega Genesis.

  2. Now the gold jewelry is also readily available in the various colors like copper, brown and silver.

  3. Good web site you’ve got here.. It’s difficult to find quality writing like yours nowadays.
I really appreciate individuals like you! Take care!!
