Hill

null

Hey guys, here are the final shots of the finished product. I call it hill, for obvious reasons..hehe. It’s is an interplay of floor, wall, and roof to break up our flat campus. My inspiration was the silicone valley hills that surround us. There is some more stuff on this on my site at fariselmasu.com

Thanks Jon. Ya, I am using Maxwell render for these shots with a combination of photoshop for a bit of touch ups. Maxwell was perfect for this project. I needed a physical sky and photo real textures and Maxwell was a perfect tool.

  1. That is a really cool idea!

    Well done Faris, love it!

  2. Faris…very impressive bro! Really feels like you have a great understanding of how to captivate the viewer, by allowing many dynamic elements to be presented at once. Well done brother!

thanks for the kind words guys. This project was a great chance to explore what the industrial design process has on objects other then small products or cars. I took a little chance with doing such a large scale object, considering I have no experience in urban design or architecture. But it was really fun doing something this conceptual and large.
