SF Zoo Crawl Thank You!!!
I’d like to thank everyone that showed up to our first Lineweights field trip event and for partcipating in getting in that mileage on paper. Here are some of my sketches from the zoo…such a challenging exercise and i need more mileage and practice!!! By the way one of the best books i’ve come across for sketching animals and characters is David Colman’s “The Art of Animal Character Design”…This guy is amazing and so inspiring… http://davidsdoodles.com/

Damn I was looking forward on going, but nature took its toll and I wasn’t able to make it out. Hope everyone had fun.

Dan, you need to stop eating all that Ramen…and next time we gots to have us a printing session for them books!
Joint printing session no doubt bud! Its too hard to rest all the weight of something like that on one printer…they get angry for that!
I wish it was Ramen, but I think it was the Wendy’s Chili that put me under. Still finger licking good, until it comes out.
By the way Jon send me a pdf of the book, I’d like to see the final version.
