  1. Lookin proper man! That back tail wing is dialed man, that small little tilt did the trick! Sweet work!

  2. Thanks pal!…thanks for the help on this one!

    • Thank you so much for all the kind comments. The mareaitls I used for this sketchbook are primarily just two mediums: A think pen, usually a Pentel Stylo and a Pentel Water Brush. The second is a really nice brush pen with a refillable bladder, it’s one of my favorites and gives you a FANTASTIC black when inking for filling in.

    dear safe passage,

as a seasoned RC helio pilot, this sketch simply doesn’t fly. futher, i suspect this helio wouldn’t harm a worbling house wren in battle. what are those things under the wings anyways..crayons? pencils for miniputt? …….PUL-ease!

the apachy helio is a mysterious, intimidating and fierce, flying ship, designed to kill and destroy, rape and pillage… and your sketch should reflect that image (for example using exaggerations, dark humour, visual inventions, etc).

prerequisits to becoming a sketcher/artist extraordinaire include; (1)having a free and unincumbered passage from the head space to the tip of the pencil and (2)having the confidence to leave your mark on the paper… for all to see!

when sketching, i encourage you to .. “RELEASE THE BEAST from within”!!
